U.S. Co-operation with ISIS Revealed in Mainstream Media

June 9, 2017

“Everything the West is doing in Syria is against international law.”
- Former German Defense Minister Willy Wimmer, 26 October 2016

It is now being reported in the mainstream media that U.S. forces are working with ISIS and other mercenary forces in Syria to overthrow the elected government of that nation. Will Americans accept the ISIS scam that is becoming more obvious every day?

The U.S. and its allies, especially Israel, have created ISIS and the war in Syria, which now appears to be approaching the end-game.

On Friday afternoon, June 9, a story was published by the Associated Press (and mainstream media sites across America) about how the United States appears to be working with ISIS terrorists in Syria against the elected government of Bashar al Assad.  The source of the claim was the commander of Russian forces in Syria:

Col. Gen. Sergei Surovikin, the commander of Russian forces in Syria, said IS made a deal earlier this month with the Kurdish forces to leave two villages southwest of Raqqa and move toward Palmyra.

Surovikin said the U.S.-led coalition along with the allied Kurds "collude with the leaders of the IS, who surrender the areas under their control and head to provinces where Syrian government forces operate."

"There is an impression that under the slogan of fighting international terrorism in Syria the Americans are using IS to offer resistance to government forces' advances," he said at a briefing...

Surovikin also criticized the U.S. for trying to block Syrian government forces from taking control of the country's southern border.

He said that Syrian government troops had secured territorial gains in the southern Suwayda province near the Jordanian border, but encountered resistance from the U.S.-led coalition.

The U.S. has dealt the Syrian government and its allied troops several blows near Tanf close to the border with Jordan, where the U.S. trains Syrian opposition forces.

Surovikin dismissed the U.S. argument that Syrian government forces there posed a threat to the training camp as "absurd" and criticized Washington's action as a violation of Syria's sovereign right to protect its border.

Col. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi of the Russian military's General Staff also questioned the U.S. role in Syria.

"Having declared the goal of fighting international terrorism, the coalition strikes Syrian troops while letting IS militants exit the encircled areas unhampered, thus boosting terrorist groupings around Palmyra and Deir el-Zour," he said. "It raises a question why they do it and what their real goals are."

This AP story, written by Vladimir Isachenkov in Moscow, is the first mainstream media story that addresses the obvious fakeness of the U.S. military policy vis-a-vis ISIS and other terrorist groups in Syria. Americans have been led to believe that U.S. forces in Syria are fighting ISIS, but U.S. actions in the past few weeks, especially in the southern desert near al Tanf near the Syrian border with Jordan and Iraq, have clearly revealed that U.S. forces are waging an illegal war in Syria against the government of Syria.

The statements by senior Russian commanders, who are in Syria at the behest of the Syrian government to fight terrorists, will be difficult for many Americans to understand because they deal with the duplicitous nature of the War on Terror, a subject which has not been discussed in the controlled mainstream media. It will be hard for the Pentagon to explain their way out of this. It seems that the cat is now out of the bag.

The same Russian commanders also said that the war in Syria will soon be over. On the same day, Syrian government forces went around the illegal U.S. garrison near al Tanf and reached the border with Iraq. This is the first time in three years that Syria has had control of a section of the border with Iraq. This also means that the U.S. garrison at al Tanf is surrounded by Syrian government forces. The only way out for the U.S. coalition forces in al Tanf would be to retreat into Jordan - or fight their way through Syrian government-held territory to go... where?

It seems that the Russians are probably right about all of these things and that we are finally approaching the end of the war in Syria. The U.S. position in Syria is illegal and unsustainable. President Trump would have been smarter to have ended U.S. involvement in Syria on Day One and withdrawn all U.S. military personnel. That would have shown true leadership with a bold change of course removing the United States from what has been a secret and sordid war of terror and aggression.

It will be hard for the U.S. and its allies to admit defeat and quit Syria, but the sooner they do, the better for all concerned.
